4th of July

We went to the Thomsen's for the 4th of July. We ate dinner and had homemade icecream, then watched the fireworks. Brent and Amy have a beautiful home and were very nice to have us over. We had some grilled Halibut, that Brent caught in Alaska and brought home. Very yummy, I don't usually like fish. We also had rice, salad, fruit, rolls and hotdogs for the kids. Jodie made wonderful homemade vanilla icecream. We also had cookies and cupcakes.
After we ate, Brent put on a great fireworks show. The kids played with sparklers while the big fireworks were going off. Brooke was afraid of the fireworks and the sparklers, because last time she held one she touched the top of it while it was hot and got burned. She isn't big on trying things twice. Shelby just fell asleep as you can see in the pictures. She found her favorite two fingers to suck on and was out.
