Andre has finally kicked off his fundraiser for his Eagle Project. Yahoo.. He is selling Little Caeser's Pizza kits to raise money to help out the MesaCAN facility of A New Leaf. We went to visit this facility and what a great place it was. They provide help for people with low income that might be facing foreclosure on their home, can't pay a utility bill etc. They also are starting the WIC program there for Women and Children. They have an after school program for the kids with no families to walk home to after school. They have a room with a bunch of tables and computers. These kids walk there after school and get mentored and tutored by the workers. This facility is in great need of seating. They have no seating out front or in back of the facility and not much seating in the lobby for waiting. Andre is going to provide some seating for the outside. He has commited to four picnic tables right now, but he would like to provide benches for out front too. They are in desperate need of these items and it is for a great cause. If you can help in any way, please let us know. Any donations are gladly appreciated.
