Brooke's big hike

These are some pictures of a hike we took a couple of weeks ago. This was Brooke and Shelby's first hike. Brooke was such a trooper, she hiked all the way to the mountain and hiked up the mountain on her own. Shelby got to hang out with Dad, what a life. When we got to the top of the mountain we sat up there and enjoyed the view and ate a snack and had a drink. We stayed for about a half an hour and just enjoyed watching the girls having fun. We hiked back down the mountain and about half way back, Brooke got really tired. I was so tired too but was able to piggyback her for a while. Then she walked for a while and I piggybacked her the rest of the way. She enjoyed being on the mountain but I don't know how eager she will be to go on another hike with us. That might have been a little to far.
