Rest in Peace MA!! We love you!!

Well, this morning was the morning of the dreaded call. Sandy called Frank and let him know that their Mom had passed away this morning. He woke me up after getting off the phone with her and let me know. It is such a bitter sweet moment. We are so glad for her that she is no longer suffering, but sad to let her go. Kristen and Megan came over and the two girls and Frank and I went to see her at the nursing home. I am glad we went to see her. It was nice to see her with such a peaceful look on her face. It was amazing to see her not suffering anymore, no more loud machines. Finally, no more pain!! It was really hard to leave her there, so we waited for the person from the mortuary to come and get her. When he arrived we asked him to give us a few more minutes with her. A half an hour later we were having a hard time pulling ourselves away from her. It has been a hard day physically and emotionally. We love you Ma.. We know we will see you again. What a grand reunion you must have had with all of your family. Your Mom and Dad, brother, son and family. They have been preparing for your return for some time. Rest in peace, you gave it a good fight and anyone that knows you is a better person for that.
